"Waiting" --- Sold

When I was in California, I visited a famous artist Zhaoming Wu. He does amazing figure paintings. From the discussion with him, I have learned that I don't need to place the brightest color at the center of focus. This painting is my experiment with that idea. I put most of the colors around and leave my main subject monochromatic. I have not reached the perfection yet, but I like this approach.

Qiang, I like it, very interesting. I sure love checking in on your blog to see what new painting is there. Wonderful as always. Barb

Striking, and best of luck with your "new" center of focus!

I like this tea pot and imagine the beautiful oolong tea that will be brewed in it. You might not remember me; I visited quite a while ago and am getting back into blogging.
